Diving @ Tioman

Decided to sign up for Basic Openwater Diving Course cuz I was fascinated by the marine life I witnessed in Redang juz by snorkelling. Thot that if I went for diving I might be able to see even more!

But this is a relli rushed trip. Set off on Fri nite and took a 3 hr boat ride from Mersing to Tioman, such that we only reached the resort at 3am.

Had 3 dives on Sat, which weren't as fulfilling as the snorkeling trips at Redang cuz the dive sites were the safer sites for us to train and practise. Every1 was rather clumsy initially as we couldn't maintain our buoyancy such that sometimes we'll kick the seabed or corals, and sometimes we'll ascend involuntarily. Then there's the prob of equalising so that ur ears will not hurt when u descend deeper to higher pressure. The first dive at 5m, I tink I prob attempted to equalise my sinus with surrounding pressures more than 10 times. But on the last and fifth dive, I managed to do that in juz 4/5 times.

Really love the sea man... =) Juz that it can be quite irritating when pple diving around you kicks you, or bump into you. Hehez, we'r too clumsy manz.

On Sun, we had 2 dives and managed to catch sight of a turtle, a stingray which is different species as the ones I saw in Redang, a moray eel, a cuttlefish, many clownfishes, a sea slug and many other marine creatures! This time, I could go nearer the clownfishes instead of looking at them from the water surface. Thus I could touch them. They're so different from other kinds of fishes which wun let u touch them at all. Either they're playful or they're slow... So cute!

Shall go for Advanced Diving Course next time!
