week 1

Income Tax. pretty humorous and interesting prof. said we were masochistic cuz we bidded for a class with such a weird timing. yeah. and such high price too. goodness. income tax sounds pretty cheem and a lot of reading and remembering! and perhaps practice too. assignment was given since tue but i've yet to read up anything on income tax yet. well.. soon... juz kinda hard to get into the study mode.

Corp Reporting. doesn't sound easy. neither does it sound like it's gonna be a relaxing course. but i hope everything will turn out fine. the class doesn't seem as competitive as audit or income tax, so maybe it wun be that jialat. but okay, i need to start listening and speaking up in class.

Management Science. vvvv nice prof. the subject is very mathsy. goodgoods.. cuz i like maths. seems like this subject juz requires a lil bit of practice. no projs!

Finishing Touch. Only half a sem, but I seriously dun like short courses. cuz very rushed! sighsigh. tho i'm pretty confident of my etiquettes and "professionalism", wadeva u call it, i still qt scared cannot score lehs.

Audit. nice mixture in the class, tho i foresee some relli stiff competition in here. most pple may tink that audit is for boring pple, and is a boring subject. buy hey, i found someone with the same sentiments as me w regards to audit! vonvon agrees w me that audit seems like a fun n exciting mod, and perhaps even a wonderful specialisation to be in! i mean it's juz like accting policemen/ investigators/ forensic scientists. u noe. damn cool la. ;)

The SMU Market. First week of sch and the sch is like a market, where food and books macham free like that. queues everywhere, pple, booths, music, brochures, all over the place. crazy. met snrs like tianwen, japh, jingyong, eugene and jianan ard in sch, and jnrs oso - wu hui, qianjun, amanda, jieying, etc. cool! more hcians ard in smu!

Nite Bike recce. cool. quite a no of gradual slopes along the routes, and my weak thighs begun to feel a lil of the lactic acid last nite. but not as jialat as ntu or the old bike hike route towards changi or even ubin. shiong traffic mans. scary to cross the t-junction halfway to realise the lights turning red. whooah...

Trekking. yay... finally got the chance to go berke in 2 weeks' time, since i missed my chance last yr. fun! i'm sure my trekking kakis, sis, yings n geoks will agree w me, that trekking rox! masochistic, but yes, love it! :)

Year 2!

Alright. I know u've all started school. My sis, NTU and NUS peeps. But hey, I'm gonna be a year 2. On one hand, I want to start sch soon. Cuz tho sch life is hectic, it can be fun-filled, meaningful and exciting too. But on the other hand, I'm juz getting used to the nuah life. Juz slumping on the sofa, eating my Venezia icecream, or eating keropok, or shepard's pie. It's been nice meeting w kakis too! mmmm... :)

Bidding courses with crazy pple means I have to read up, by now. But I haven't, and why am I feeling guilty? Hehes... nvm, i noe i can make it up real soon.

Yeah, this new term is gonna be a fruitful one for me. Studies are of cuz impt. But so is LIFE (i'm still young!) - outdoors, family, frens, bf. Yoohoo...

random...

What is short-lived and what is not?
The light emitted from the fireworks. Former.
My memory of the light. Latter.
That sense of joy and awe. Former.
Learning. Latter.

Hols starting since late Apr. So I began on my first aid course, and climbed Rinjani. Then came May, June and July, when I worked, played, and did loads of planning for the camp. Those were times I learnt. About pple, about myself, and everything else. I was scared to be judged, and was cautious not to judge too. And so I was surprised by how independent I became, how composed I remained, and how patient and how accepting I could be. (Not that I haven't been independent, composed, patient and accepting before.) Sometimes, I was so independent I was almost building a fortress, almost alone; sometimes I was so helpless I had to be composed. So the fortress grew thicker and taller.

The strength came from within.

The battery needs to be recharged. Wants to be recharged. Forgot to be recharged for months, and the usual charger doesn’t work as well now. It’s by far the best charger for this battery. Could be the compatibility, or that some thing’s changed.

I also understood what it means by “love is patient, love is kind”. Though I may not be practising it as well as I want to, I learnt and I understood. It’s not easy – to ask what you can give, and not what you can get. It takes courage. And, yes, the strength comes from within.

I miss. The times we played bball after sch. The times we rushed down to PC for trainings. The times we looked fwd to camps. The times we had fun organising them. The times we ponned elections, classes, functions. The times we gathered at the bench. The good food at coro, 6th ave and 7-mile. The feeling u get donning the uniform.

Trrrrekkkk bonding

Like totally... Ohmygaaaawd... Trek team bonding at Sentosa was frrreeeakin great one. More like the company rather than the stuff we do. mmmm... was totally engrossed in bitching/ chatting with the gals, and we were less interested in the beach volleyball. hehes. We were supposed there to get tanned too. The sun was scorching, and we had my SPF4 DARK TANNING OIL. But dunno y it didn't work on us. So besides bitching and sunbathing, we were basically juz lazing in the waters, snacking, and did the luge ride. Behaving totally like bimbos. Shhhitt... Our reputations (if they were existent in the first place) were totally tarnished then mans. And of cuz we were behaving like total photo whores, taking pics like we'd nv done that b4. *giggles... none of the photos to be uploaded here mans. too throwface alr.

Nuah-ing is totally the best thing to do on earth mans. I totally needed it, and of cuz needed to get my mouth, and perhaps intellect working, while being engaged in our conversations. xinyu, yj and i were the only ones awake the whole nite chatting. Totally nice feeling. ohmygaaawd... Right, I'm suffering from lack of slp now.

shopaholics!

Actually I realised that I go shopping pretty often, but then given my character I spend at less frequencies, but perhaps higher amt per expenditure as compared to my shopping kakis! On thur, I specially left work earlier to go shopping with yings, pg and huihui! haven't seen huihui as much as the nus babes, though we'r in the same sch, and finally got to meet her then. :) it's always nice to be catching up with frens after not seeing her for some time. Ah! Come to think of it, I was supposed to be organising a swimming outing for 4naiers, but haven't done that. sheesh.. pretty fruitful cuz I bagged 3 tops... the last 2 tops were like sUpER goooood deal, thanks to huihui, such that my sis is green with envy and complaining I bojio her... haha...

Today met up with tze, yings and pg, once again for another shopping spree. I spent like ~$300 today la, but I suppose I do this once in a while, on stuff that I really consider useful and important to me. hehes... Quite happy and fruitful trip today cuz I bought the stuff I wanted to, and really got super good earrings deal... woohoo... juz too bad I hadn't been sleeping for the past 24 hours so was quite sleepy and tired to reveal the happiness of a satisfied shopper. bleahs

mmm... gonna be quite a packed, and hopefully fun-filled week coming up! There'r meeting on Mon, movie on Tue, fireworks and catching up nini + the rest of 29th on Wed (!!!), mmmchh on Thur (hoho... wad trekkers call clubbin?!), and bringing my parents to sch on Fri... and yay! last day of work is Thur! can't wait mans. Totally...
