First Day of Work

Woke up early so that I wun be late on the 1st day of work. Supposed to go for iFast talk about fortnightly updates on global economy. Sounds cool rite? well, I could understand most of the stuff there since the illustration were comprehensive and we learnt a lot about macroecons in sch. But of cuz i learnt a lot of new things like wrap and non-wrap funds, Regular Savings Plan etc. Mark (my boss) taught me the places in Raffles Place so next time i can go there and run errands for him eg in The Arcade, Standard Chartered Bank or OCBC.

Then went to the office at Raffles City Tower. Met my colleagues there, including another of Mark's personal assistant, Debbie. She's a professional I tink. Shud be an adult. 1st time meeting so din want to ask her too many things regarding her background ya... She's quite pretty, petite and got long golden hair.

Wah... tot i would be rather redundant at 1st since Debbie is already a professional, but later i knew that being a PA, i'll have endless stuff to handle. Gosh! besides, I'll have to be the kah kia, running ard running errands, following Mark to meetings.
Learnt how to prepare the set of documents to set up an iFast investment account, logged in info regarding funds switching, saw how Mark worked and writing his appointment record, etc. Whoa... so many things to learn!

But of course felt a little lonely, since it's the 1st day of work, but since i was occupied with my work, it didn't matter la... Faced the computer for the whole day so my eyes quite tired. Gosh.. can u believe it, now after work and I'm still at the computer! My shoes relli tortured my feet la. Can foresee my feet rotting aft a few days of running about...

Received a msg from Tze in the morn that she gonna quit her job. Good that she made a decision now. Better now than later. Luckily it's juz a temp job. She can still turn back b4 she made a wrong move. Mark told me it's very hard to turn back if u made 1 wrong move, so he said i muz consider properly which course i wanna take. Cuz i mentioned i'm interested in bizad, but he suggested i consider Acc... Debbie was saying y not Banking n Finance. Ok... at least i'm glad that i have pple to turn to for recommendations since i'm currently still unsure of which course is most suitable for me...

Yay... Hope i'll gain much from this job and most imptly, eNJoY iT!!! =)
