Last Week of Work...

Thur:
Went to SMU for matriculation with Peiling after lunch at home. Being the kiasu us, we met at 1.15 pm when the mat. starts only at 2 pm. And being the kiasu us, we actually chose the first day for mat. so that we can get the best of wadeva lobang they have... hiakhiak... Basically, matriculation is kind of like to settle the admin stuff so that you are officially officially the student of the school. Started at Station 1, where we were supposed to settle finance issues. Then later went to take pictures for our student card. My picture was alright juz that i din realise there were shadows on my face, which made my face look chubby! Nvm... The printer was so shen qi, cuz it printed out on-the-spot my picture on the card! So cool... Then settled my email account, and went to this room to hear about CIP stuff. Anyway, in SMU, Orientation is a module, thus is compulsory or u can't pass the module la... Haha... Quite funny, but fun too... And there's a compulsory 80-hour CIP we have to clock.

Went to take a look at the laptops on offer. Got Fujitsu TabletPC Lifebook, which looks super cool, with the pretty new handwriting technology! And there's IBM Thinkpad which are super durable, but plain-looking... But most prob i'm getting an IBM Thinkpad T43. Not that light, but good in terms of performance... =)

Then, registered for the first run of the orientation camp. I'm in Group 12, while Peiling's in Group 52. We pakat to choose the 1st run. Then went to register for Acc Camp... Cool! Got a free shawl (not very nice though.. hehez) and a lipice lipgloss! haha... The camp's gonna be in Sentosa Costa Sands Resort over 2D1N... And signed up for SMUX camp, organised by the SMU Xtremists aka OAC... And oso registered for Convocation which is compulsory too, where we are supposed to attend in white shirt, black skirt and black court shoes for gals. Sounds pretty cool...

At first signed up for SMUve, which is a stayover b4 moving over to the new campus. But then, I went to sign up Project YES, which is CIP for NDP. Gonna be usher in NDP, and 1 of the days clashes with SMUve... So can't go... But this CIP sounds pretty fun.. n I get to watch NDP like dunno how many times siaz...

really looking forward to the fun activities... Hehez.. Luckily my last day is on 2 July and not any later so at least i have enough time to rest... =)

Fri:
Woke up late! And damn it... EZ link card expires today. Only had $50-note in wallet and no coins. Nobody was able to change money with me, so the bus auntie allowed me to take the bus ride free-of-charge! But then, since I only had a $50-note, I couldn't get a standard tic to take a train to Novena, so I took a cab down. But I was kinda relieved cuz it was only $2.70 and I dun have to walk the super super long distance to my office from the train stat! But kinda pissed with Transitlink, cuz they should've planned it such that it expires when we get our Tertiary Student's EZ link card. Hmmm...

Sat:
My last day... Kinda felt relieved cuz at least I get time to rest and recharge for sch life, take part in activities and prob org activities for my class too... But then, felt a little sad that suddenly I'm not going to do sth I had been doing over the past 4 and a half months, taking 700 to Newton and changing train to Novena every Tue to Sat morn.

Gave Jasmine, Jen, Clint and Jeslyn a little cushion and a card each, and gave my boss a card too... =) Hehez... Tink they'll miss me... hehez...

For dinner, met Sheila, Adrienne and Jen at Big O. It's been a long time since I feasted like a piggy! Cuz the new interns in my team dun seem to be interested in eating. So sian... Kinda sad... Lunch is like the time for rejuvenation. Like wad Sheila and Adrienne will say, "Lunch is the only thing to look forward to!"... Agreed... Well, WSD eats, literally, air for lunch and an apple for tea. That's all for the day, thank you very much... My god, and look at how thin she is! Tuan is the doctor-to-be and actually told me that he had a "chewybar" thus did not need lunch. Wow... Can't believe that! I was kinda deprived during that period of time without my beloved lunchmates, Sheila and Adrienne which explains y I ate so much at Big O... Hehez...

Sun:
Went to Marina Country Club. Where? In the ulu part of Punggol. Felt like I was in Trengganu once again, but realised it was Singapore... Helped my aunt at her stall selling ornaments with Chinese knots and other crafts. Quite cool, but was stoning most of the time. Was under the hot sun, under the shelter of cuz, and sweating like crazy... Urghh...

But maybe I brought luck to her... Revenue increased by abt 800% from yesterday! yay!
