OG Outing!

shall summarise my week...

Tue: Went swimming at Clementi swimming complex with Tze and Sophie... It was quite fun swimming 2 laps in 2 hours' time. Shows how slack we were. Actually our objective was juz to hang out, slack ard and chit chat. It rained a while, so it was pretty cold... =)

Thur: OG outing. Went to Swensens at Holland Village. Ate a lot there. Tink my appetite was great that day. Muz have starved a lot the whole day la. Anyway I ate black pepper seafood pasta, which I thot was too peppery. So I dun recommend it though i like spicy food. It's overdone. Then helped Michelle finish her chicken baked rice and ate fries which all of us shared. After that, still had earthquake and apple crumble ice cream. Hehez... sinful... Basically i felt like a pig, but I juz couldn't help eating so much... Hehez...

After that, we went to Wala Wala and I ordered Brown Cow since I dun like beer. We were there to enjoy the music by the band. Think the lead singer is so charismatic. Her voice is great and the music is superb too! But wad i simply hate about the place is that it's super smoky and we can't really interact much with each other.

At about 11+, we were about to set off to Amelia's house, but Michelle and I wanted to leave first to catch the bus to go home, cuz we can't stayover anyway. But the guys offered to give us a ride back home since it'll be late (shud i say early?) by then. So we went to Amelia's house, which is in Serangoon in their cars and had so much fun playing mahjong. Luckily i managed to persuade them not to play with money, or I'd have lost terribly. Let me tell u y: Mark managed a 13yao, while there was a green 1 colour, and a half-colour... imagine, if we played with money, I might have to pawn some of my valuables. We played so late into the night, such my fren, Mac had to close one eye at one time, so he could let his eyes rest alternately. Damn lame la... Den many of us started spreading the yawning syndrome, and decided to head for home soon. David, Michelle and I took Mark's Ford Mondeo (he's a damn lucky n rich guy sia). His driving is so super fast, but I like, cuz i'm the super impatient person. So I suppose next time I may be quite a fast driver too... But anyway, no car to drive in the near future, so shall not worry abt getting a license now.

Fri: Managed to crawl out of bed despite a late nite last nite. Went to Shuying's house and met Huihui on the bus trip there. Went there only to realise that there were only the 3 of us. Nevertheless we went swimming, and like the swimming trip with Sophie and Tze, it was a rather slack one. Shuying tried to swim more front crawl while I tried to swim more breaststroke so as to brush up on the techniques, but then maybe diff bodies r suited for diff strokes, unlike Jocelin Yeo. Hehez... Poor Shuying is sick, but i suppose a little exercise may help her recover faster. Den at lunch, we played with her cute siao pang (little fatty) and siao pang pang (little fatty fatty). They are so gentle and absolutely CUTE!!!

Sat: My aim was to get to Greenridge Pri Sch by 1 pm. I knew it was in the vicinity, and that I could reach there by taking 921 or 920. Waited at 921 berth and asked the boy there whether 921 goes to Greenridge Pri. He said 'no', and that 920 brings me there. So I thanked him n waited at the 920 berth. I still had no idea where the sch is, cuz I rarely go to the ulu part of bukit panjang la. Anyway, when i reach greenridge central, i asked the malay guy beside me where is greenridge pri. He said he doesn't noe, while his fren said it's a few stops further. So I waited, and later, he pointed Greenridge Sec Sch to me. I asked me, so where is Greenridge Pri? And he said he doesn't noe. I juz felt like punching them, but then they were juz trying to help rite? So i waited for the bus to make a loop and then saw a mother n a Greenridge Pri gal boarding my bus. I took this opportunity to ask the mother. And great! She brought all the way to the sch since her child was going for the NE Show as well. Hooray, I finally reached Greenridge Pri, but I was 15 min late la. Urgh...

Was raining quite heavily when I was reporting at Greenridge Pri Sch. And I had to wait with Jessie and Mayvis at the canteen till it was 2 pm before we advanced to the hall.

This is a rather "easy" way to get CIP hours, cuz the waiting time is rather long. The kids were being taken care of by the teachers, so we needn't worry too much. Of cuz that's provided the teachers are easy to manage and not difficult pple. Of cuz it's not like we have nothing to do with this job. As ushers, we had to make sure that all the children have seats. But us ushers were not supposed to have seats. Actually there were enuf seats for us as well, but some seats were taken up by teachers' and students' belongings. sadness. We ended up have to stand along the aisle. But then teachers and children complained that we were blocking the view. So we stood by the railing and made sure we din block their view, but our presence narrowed the path for the crowd to walk to n fro the toilet. Urgh... So we gave up shifting locations and decided to go to the rest area for dinner at 5+.

Actually supposed to have stayover at Lindsay's house tonite and a Sentosa outing tmr morn, but then Lind's bro is sick, so can't go to her house, n no other pple's house seem available at such short notice. So the stayover is called off. Hopefully will have another one soon. =)
