Updates!

Okies... realised that I haven't been updating my blog for some time. Haven't seen Wanling and Constance for quite some time. Met up with Sophie and Mingjuan when I went for the NTU ODAC BBQ and met Vanessa in the middle of the road last Sat. Haha... Last Sat, I really had a good chat with Tze Hwee over dinner juz gossiping and updating each other of wad's happening to the gals in NUS and abt 29th's potential couples. Heez... Too bad I couldn't make it for MAF last last week. =(

Basically, I've at least 1 project and 1 assignment for each module I'm taking. At first I was quite stressed out with having so many meetings and so much to do. You know, I'm the super task-oriented person who likes to get things done as fast as possible. Then during meetings, you get procrastination, deliberation and digression, which juz gets on my nerves! But it's not all that bad, really... Take my LTB (Leadership and Teambuilding) group for example, we did really great at our presentation last Sat though the whole process was a long and unbearable one for most of us. Beginning to love my LTB group...

My LTB group is doing a Community Service Project (CSP) for the elderly under Lions Befrienders. These elderly are usually lonely and living in rented flats. We'll be introducing exercise sessions (adapted from physiotherapy) for them so they can improve their mobility. I really hope our sessions can help them. I mean wad they really need is emotional support rather than all the tangible things we can provide. But then, many elderly have difficulty moving ard even in the house itself. The pain in the joints can be so bad that sometimes they will juz cry. Wad we want to do is at least to relieve their pain and promote interaction among the elderly and alleviate their boredom with the exercise sessions.

While many of my friends signed up for several CCAs, I only have 1 CCA right now. Acheli I'm rather interested in theatre production and dancing as well, but well, I tink I ought to concentrate on 1 CCA. I suppose I'll have a chance to maybe audition for any future theatre production? I signed up for 2 teams in SMUX - Kayak & Trek. Haven't trekked b4, unless Bt Timah, MacRitchie and Ubin are counted. Haha... And it seems quite interesting to plan the overseas trek expeditions. On the other hand, I'd always been the kayaking person. I love the sea, love rolling and love canoe polo... So it's rather conflicting as to which team to join. I know deep inside, I enjoy participating in kayaking expeditions more than planning it.

I'm also involved in the Programming Committee for Adventure Jamboree (Adjam) jointly organised by NTU, NUS, SMU and SIM. Apparently, 29th din join Adjam cuz it clashed with our OH recce or sth 2 yrs ago. It's something like an adventure race, but is geared towards promoting interaction among JC and poly ODACs rather than competing against each other.

Okay, I'm really looking forward to a 29th gathering cum farewell for Nini on Sat enjoying kayaking on the sea and BBQ!!! I always enjoy BBQ with 29th cuz the guys will be so gentlemanly to offer to do the work! Unlike the 68 guys... haha... And Nini ar, dunno y your laptop is taking such a long time. Tink it shud be ready soon... Anyway tink a lot of pple can't bear Nini to leave (esp Benji)... Then we always envision that Nini will return as a girly/ feminine woman with British accent. Woo~
