Overseas Trip!

We were supposed to plan a backpacking trip to Cameron Highlands, Redang and Tasik Kenyir, but becuz too many pple's parents dun allow such a 'risky' tour, and cuz these places are tourists' hot spots, the discussion eventually evolved to become more like a land tour/ holiday rather than a backpacking trip.

We met at Tze's house today. There were 10 of us: Me, Tze, Wanling, Fenniu, Sophia, Shuying, Nini, Jingwen, Peigeok & Mingjuan. Due to long travelling time and the limited time that we have, we eventually decided to scrap the idea of going to Cameron Highlands though the expenditure there is not that significant. We also postponed the trip to 12th- 19th June so that more pple can make it.

Right now, our rough plan is to take a coach to Merang in Trengganu on on the night of Day 0 so we can reach in the morning to catch our ferry to P. Redang. We'll then spend Day 1, Day 2 there and leave on Day 3 for Tasik Kenyir, a lake in Trengganu as well. Seems like we are all keen on staying on the house-boat for 3D2N on Tasik Kenyir. That really sounds great man!!! The last time I visited a lake was when I was really young, in Pri Sch, to Lake Toba. Now it's dangerous to go there since the volcanoes and plates there are getting more active these days.

At Redang, we'll get to do some snorkelling, water sports and juz get suntanned! And at Tasik Kenyir, we'll get to travel on the boat to a waterfall, jungle trekking and caves! So fun!!! So, we'll be spending Day 3 and Day 4 there and leave on Day 5 for KL. Then I suppose we'll go KL for shopping spree and look see and prob stay in the budget inn for a night b4 we leave KL via train for Singapore on Day 6.

This trip really sounds so fun! And I'm so excited since this seems like the last time we can do this b4 Uni. Maybe when we r older, and more experienced (and maybe have greater purchasing power), we can all travel to some exotic places for some real backpacking. So, for this trip, we dun relli need to get some stranger guys to accompany us le.. Gals rule! Hiakhiak... Well, I should juz hope that all/ most of us can get the permission to go on this trip manz....
