Inefficiency

Work had never been so challenging for me. In my workplace I've to clear the old invoices so that they can be vouchered. How can a company let something so fundamental to a company, Accounts Payable, screw up. I bet their accounts are going haywire, and they dun have much time to tidy up the accounts b4 the auditors come. Basically I juz realised that wad I did the past few weeks had been for nothing. I cleared so much of the rubbish, matched the volume on the database to the physical delivery orders, only to realise that some rubbish were not with me all along, and with the AP staff, which had already been matched. Don't they have the brains to tink that I needed ALL of the phy delivery orders! Yes, including the ones which had been matched but not vouchered! So it ended up when the stuff I handed over to the AP staff to be vouchered, some of the quantity in the database was used up alr. So wad did I match that for?! There's obviously a screw up in the documents and system flowchart. So much room for errors. This sounds so complicated, and I can say it's complicated, becuz right now, I'm the only temp who is able to understand it enuf to do this, though my understanding of the process flow is still rather minimal. My partner kept doing her job wrong, so I still had to solve the probs she created. But i'm only a temp, so this is not the way to go ard this! They can't juz rely on me to handle their probs, clear all their rubbish for them, cuz I'm leaving the company pretty soon.

My goodness, I hate inefficient systems.
