Diving at Dayang

Went for Advanced Diving at Dayang from 2-4 Mar! Yay! finally got to dive again; first time doing night and deep diving too!

Got to see nudibranch, a whole school of humongous bumphead parrotfish, lionfish, anemone fish, cuttlefish, sea urchins, starfish, etc. I nearly got bitten by a trigger fish as I got carried right into its territory by the current. I immediately swam away from it, and it was chasing at my fins. Luckily my instructor came to my rescue, but got bitten instead. Thought that having seen the school of bumphead parrotfish would be cause of joy and gave us bragging rights to the rest of openwater and leisure divers. Never did we expect the leisure divers to see whalesharks! The biggest fish in the world, spanning about 8m for adults. But they saw the dwarf kind, only abt 4m long, but still! Those are the diamonds of the ocean. People pay thousands of dollar to visit Similans, Phillipines and Great Barrier Reef to see whalesharks! Urgh! Jealousy!
